Since 1936 Erling Haug AS has been a supplier of goods and services to Norwegian companies. We mainly operate in the following markets.
Industry
We are a supplier of goods and services to land-based industry and major consumers in the public sector. This includes melting works, contractors, mines, engineering works, building and construction, and a number of manufacturing enterprises. Key products include lifting equipment, steel rope, and other industrial equipment. We set ourselves strict requirements concerning quality of service and customer contact, and we prioritise maintaining an up-to-date product/service catalogue.
Offshore
We supply products relating to all aspects of the offshore industry - from exploration drilling via supply and subsea installations to operations and extraction. Lifting, mooring and maritime equipment are among our core products. Quality assurance, modern management tools and a highly trained workforce, mean that we can provide a quick and efficient service from any of our four bases strategically located along the coast. Wire rope and lifting gear are our main products.
Maritime
Based on location and tradition, our natural priority areas are shipbuilding and shipping. Our customers include shipping lines, shipyards, engineering works and the fishing industry. We supply equipment, life-saving appliances and nautical aids to all types of vessels, ranging from cargo ships to trawlers to supply vessels. Our main products include heavy lifting systems and equipment, winches and hoisting apparatus, mooring devices, steel rope and chains. Erling Haug A/S supplies and certifies liferafts, survival suits and fire-fighting equipment.
Aquaculture
Erling Haug A/S has been a supplier to the fish-farming industry in Norway since the very beginning of this industry. We are specialized in mooring systems. Our company was one of the very first to be certified according to the new norwegian standard, NS 9415. Our comapny have both competence and engineering capabilities with regards to mooring of fish-farms. Our daughter company in Chile, Haug Aqua Chile S.A., is also mainly operating within equipment to the fish-farming industry.
